I've been coming to this salon for years, which is why this review is so disappointing to write. Over time I've watched the quality steadily decline, but today was by far my worst experience. I came in on July 4th for a very simple regular nail polish design. It took an hour and a half, cost $50, and I also left an $11 tip because I always try to be fair and appreciate people's work. From the moment my technician started, it was obvious she was rushing. There was nail polish all over my fingers and cuticles. I politely pointed it out and said, "I don't know if you're rushing, but this looks really sloppy." Instead of taking my concern seriously, she laughed and said, "I'll fix it." Unfortunately, she continued doing the exact same thing on my other hand. When she finished, the polish was uneven, the lines were crooked, and the design looked nothing like what I requested. It honestly looked like I had painted them myself at home, not like I had paid a professional salon. When I tried to show the manager, my technician immediately tried to brush it off before anyone could really look. I even asked another customer if I was overreacting because I genuinely couldn't believe how bad they looked. Both the manager and the customer agreed it looked sloppy. The only solution I was offered was to come back the next day. After already spending an hour and a half in the salon, $50 on the service, and leaving an $11 tip, I shouldn't have to give up another hour and a half of my time just to have a professional job done correctly. If the staff didn't want to work on a holiday, they should have closed instead of rushing customers through and delivering subpar work. It's disappointing because this used to be a salon I trusted. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I won't be returning. There are so many wonderful nail salons in this neighborhood that I'd much rather support. If you're considering coming here, save yourself the time, money, and frustration, and give your business to one of the many salons that still takes pride in the quality of their work.
Jenny is the best! Before was using just acrylic nails, she put me on to Gel-X and so much better and lighter. Gina is also really kind and her pedicure is done with care. Really affordable and clean.
